MIAMI (AP) — Thousands of people gathered in downtown Miami and other Florida cities to protest parts of President Donald Trump’s agenda, joining tens of thousands in cities across the U.S. and around the world.

The 10,000-seat amphitheater in Miami was filled to capacity Saturday as long lines of people tried to get in. Other large protests were held in West Palm Beach, St. .Petersburg and Pensacola.

Roxana Viera and her family joined the Miami rally hoping to demonstrate that the majority of Americans did not choose Trump. The 45-year-old doctor from Jupiter says Trump’s values are not those of the nation as a whole.

Her 11-year-old daughter Sofia Johnson had a sign criticizing Trump’s comments about women: “Nothing is weaker than a man who hurts women with his words.”
