Young Floridians need access to reproductive health care: No on HB 1335

The Florida House of Representatives will be voting on a law adding more stringent requirements on youth needing access to abortion. This bill would require young people deemed too “immature” to have an abortion to become parents instead.

This proposal, spearheaded by Representative Erin Grall (R-Vero Beach), will require a young person’s parent to prove identity and parentage and give written, notarized consent before she could get an abortion. And, it exacts criminal penalties for noncompliance.

Fill in your information on this page, and get your state representative's office phone number. Call them today: say you know youth already have enough government-imposed barriers in accessing abortion care and to vote "No" on HB 1335.
