No one should have to decide between financial ruin and life-saving care for themselves or their families, especially during a pandemic. But year after year in the Florida Legislature, the Republican majority blocks efforts to expand Medicaid. Expanding Medicaid isn’t some pie-in-the-sky reform effort, it's a popular component of the Affordable Care Act and one 39 other states have approved to provide health care for low-income working adults.

Expanding Medicaid in Florida will benefit more than one million Floridians, including thousands of veterans, parents, and near-retirees who have jobs without health coverage. That’s why we’re building grassroots support to expand Medicaid in our state.
